- coronary artery disease
- ventricular septal defect
Pathology:
- may involve interventricular septum
Special laboratory:
- electrocardiogram (ECG):
- ST segment elevation in leads V1-V4
Complications:
- myocardial pump failure
- intracardiac thrombus (40%)
- systemic thromboembolism (50%)
