Etiology:
- mycotoxin-induced condition
Epidemiology:
- former U.S.S.R. during World War II, consumption of grain colonized with Fusarium sporotrichioides & Fusarium poae
Pathology:
- presence of T2 toxin
Clinical manifestations:
- nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
- leukopenia (aleukia)
- hemorrhage
- dermatitis
Complications:
- death [1]
