Epidemiology: - rare Pathology: - cyst formed from advential tissue Clinical manifestations: - femoral vein cyst - painless, progressive swelling, paresthesia - occlusion of femoral vein (case report) [1] Special laboratory: - ultrasound shows hypoechoic, avascular lesion (case report) [1] Radiology: - computed tomography of pelvis shows fluid-filled mass (case report) [1] Differential diagnosis: - deep vein thrombosis Management: - simple drainage of the cyst - surgical resection (preferred given risk for recurrence after aspiration)
