1) tumor of pancreatic islet D1 cells
2) 60% malignant
Clinical manifestations:
1) secretory diarrhea, dehydration
2) flushing
Laboratory:
1) serum potassium: hypokalemia
2) serum chloride: hypochlorhydria
3) serum vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP) > 75 pg/mL
