Indications: 1) acute decompensated heart failure a) of benefit in patients with diuretic resistance [2,5] b) of NO value [3] c) benefit unproven [7] 2) septic shock [6] Contraindications: - does not correct azotemia, acid-base disorders, or electrolyte imbalances [7]
