Indications: - varicose veins resulting in - *blood clots - *mild-to-moderate pain - *skin ulcers Procedure: - minimally invasive - adhesive is injected percutaneously into varicose veins - utrasound imaging is used to monitor the placement of the catheter Adverse effects: - phlebitis - paresthesia Mechanism of action: - adhesive made with n-butyl-2-cyanoacrylate Notes: - as effective & safe as radio-frequency ablation
