- increasing incidence & mortality in the United States, in part due to increase in obesity [2]
- 27 cases per 100,000 women in 2015 [2]
- 5 deaths per 100,000 women in 2016 [2]
Genetics:
- implicated genes PHF19, BARD1
Complications:
- recurrence of gynecologic cancer most often detected by symptoms or physical examination [1]
