tuberous xanthoma

Etiology: - familial hypercholesterolemia Clinical manifestations: - small, soft, yellow, orange or red papules or nodules over extensor surfaces, especially elbows, knees, & buttocks - individual xanthomas often coalesce to form large, lobular masses Laboratory: - LDL cholesterol elevated &/or - serum triglycerides elevated
