Etiology: - squamous cell carcinoma a) head & neck cancer b) lung carcinoma - when occuring in association with acanthosis nigricans a) GI adenocarcinoma (especially gastric cancer) b) urogenital adenocarcinoma Clinical manifestations: - rugose (wrinkled) folds on palms & soles - may occur in association with acanthosis nigricans
