Indications:
- diffuse lung disease
- persistent pulmonary infiltrates
- lung nodules or lung masses
- hilar mass
- mediastinal mass
- transplant rejection
Procedure:
- biopsy of the lung parenchyma or of lung nodules using small forceps often guided by electromagnetic navigation or transbronchial ultrasound
