Epidemiology: - endemic in some parts of Asia - reported in Europe - fly vector Pathology: - helminth imfections of lacrimal glands Laboratory: - white, slender, & filiform nematodes - 10 to 12 mm long & 0.16 to 0.18 mm wide - attenuation at both ends - presence of a buccal capsule near the anterior end & cuticular striations over the whole tegumental surface Management: - mechanical removal of the parasites
