Pharmacokinetics:
- active metabolite 11-hydroxytetrahydrocannabinol
- metabolized to 11-nor-9-carboxy-delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol
Adverse effects:
- used during encoding impairs memory acquisition
- used during retrieval associated with false recognition of words & images [3]
- vitamin E acetate found in most of the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) vaping products tested in patients with severe respiratory illness [4]
- impairs driving [5]
- dose-related dizziness & changes in thinking & perception with THC only but not THC-CBD combination
