temporal bone

Structure: - paired bone of the cranium, consisting of 3 parts: squamous, tympanic & petrous which are distinct at birth Articulation: - it articulates with the sphenoid bone, parietal bone, occipital bone & zygomatic bone & by a synovial joint with the mandible.
