Tradename: Synarel. Indications: - endometriosis - precocious puberty [3] Dosage: - 200-400 ug (1 spray each nostril) intranasally BID for 6 months Solution: (nasal) 2 mg/mL (10 mL) Adverse effects: 1) common (> 10%) - hot flashes, decreased libido, vaginal dryness, headache, emotional lability, myalgia, decreased breast size, nasal irritation 2) less common (1-10%) - edema, insomnia, seborrhea 3) uncommon (< 1%) - increased libido, weight loss Mechanism of action: -> GnRH analog
