Etiology: - pregnancy Epidemiology: - 90% of pregnant women by the 3rd trimester Clinical manifestations: - red, pink, or purple depressed atrophic streaks distributed in areas of adipose tissue (abdomen, buttocks, breasts, thighs) - regression after delivery - residual white streaks remain (striae albicantes) * images [2,3]
