Indications: - infectious diarrhea due to Aeromonas &/or Plesiomonas Specimen: - fresh, randomly collected stool - minimum volume: 1 g of stool - container: -> plastic-coated cardboard cup or plastic cup with tight-fitting lid Notes: -> MUST always culture for other enteric pathogens
