Epidemiology: - rare Pathology: - vaccine is injected into tissues containing a preexisting antibody - deltoid bursitis Notes: - case report of extraordinarily high shoulder injection into the deltoid bursa rather than the muscle, resistance in advancing the needle noted, the needle then allegedly redirected into the shoulder joint space
