sinus arrhythmia

Variation between the longest & shortest p-wave intervals is > 0.12 seconds. Variation may be phasic with respirations or non phasic. In the phasic variant, the cycle length diminishes with inspiration & increases with expiration. The non phasic variant may be related to variation in vagal tone. Clinical manifestations: generally asymptomatic Management: - workup &/or treatment generally unnecessary
