septal Q wave

Septal Q waves result from the initial septal depolarization towards the right ventricle. They are 25 msec in duration (max 27 msec). The leads with the largest R waves have septal Q waves. Thus septal Q waves are normally seen in lead I & in V6 (60-80% of normal individuals).
