sebaceous epithelioma; sebaceoma

Etiology: - may occur in Muir-Torre syndrome Microscopic pathology: - irregularly shaped cell masses with more than one half of cells undifferentiated basaloid cells but with significant aggregates of sebaceous cells & transitional cells. - nuclear atypia rare - mitoses may be numerous Clinical manifestations: - face or scalp most common Differential diagnosis: - sebaceous adenoma - sebaceous carcinoma - basal cell carcinoma with sebaceous differentiation
