Function: - motor function - S1-S2: plantar flexion of foot - S2-S4: rectal tone - sensory function - S1: lateral foot Structure: - nerves emerging from the sacral foramina (S1-S5) - ventral ramiof S1-S3 enter into formation of the sacral plexus - S4 & S5 enter into formation of the coccygeal plexus.
