Pathology:
- the toxin urushiol results in contact dermatitis
Clinical manifestations:
- see contact dermatitis
Management:
- high potency topical glucocorticoids for moderate to severe contact dermatitis (excepting face)
- 10-21 days of treatment
- oral corticosteroids (alternative) [2]
