Rey-Osterrieth complex figure test (CFT)

A visual memory test. The patient must copy a complex design containing 36 scorable elements (copy) & must reproduce it after a delay (recall). Normal adults can correctly copy an average of 22 of 36 scorable elements of the design with little loss after delays of up to 1 hour. The norms for older adults gradually decrease in proportion to age.
