Replacing, engineering, or regenerating human cells, tissues, or organs to establish, restore, or enhance normal function. Procedure: - human cell & tissue products (growth factors) - injection of growth factors locally into site of injury (1-6 injections) followed by infrared scattered laser which increases circulation to damaged tissue - cell therapies, including stem cell therapy - therapeutic tissue-engineering products - scaffolds upon which cells can grow Indications: - arthritis (failure of more conservative measures)
