Indications: - class 3 heart failure - may be used in conjunction with cardiac resynchronization therapy Mechanism of action: - presumptively provides changes in pulmonary artery pressure from which a physician can assess changes in heart failure status Clinical trials: - lowers heart failure-related hospitalizations [1] - number of days alive outside of hospital not much different
