Function: - role in regulation of PDGFRB expression & in modulation of PDGF signaling - may act as a tumor suppressor in breast cancer - component of the TORC2 complex - binds directly to FRAP1 & RICTOR within the TORC2 complex Alternative splicing: named isoforms=4 Expression: - most abundant in kidney & liver - also highly expressed in brain, spleen, testis & placenta Pathology: - overexpressed in several colorectal tumors
