2) knowing how to solve a puzzle faster the 2nd time you are exposed to it
3) knowing how to play the guitar
Physiology:
- procedural memories may be stored in the basal ganglia
Pathology:
- impaired by lesions in the basal ganglia or cerebellum
- impaired in Parkinson's disease & in Huntington's disease
