Classification:
1) postprandial syncope
2) cough syncope
3) postmicturition syncope
4) postdefecation syncope
Special laboratory:
- electrocardiogram (all patients with syncope)
Management:
- reassurance & education
- midodrine does not consistently benefit patients
- reserved for refractory cases
