Etiology:
- bronchial carcinoid
- foreign body
- bronchial stricture
Pathology:
- airway obstruction in bronchial tree
- lobar pneumonia in segment of lung distal to obstruction
Clinical manifestations:
- localized wheezing
Radiology:
- chest X-ray: persistent pulmonary infiltrate
Management:
- relieve underlying airway obstruction
