[6] Pharmacokinetics: 1) inhibits cyt P450 3A4 & cyt P450 2D6 Drug interactions: 1) may increase levels of any drug metabolized by cyt P450 3A4 or cyt P450 2D6 (i.e. macrolides, Ca+ channel blockers, metoprolol, antiviral protease inhibitors, statins) Mechanism of action: - antioxidant properties - inhibits NF-kappa-B [9] - inhibits angiogenesis [8]
