RNA polymerase III 32 kD polypeptide (RNA polymerase III C32 subunit)

Function: - specific peripheric component of RNA polymerase 3 - RPC3/POLR3C, RPC6/POLR3F & RPC7/POLR3G form a RNA polymerase 3 subcomplex - may direct with other members of the RPC3/POLR3C-RPC6/POLR3F- RPC7/POLR3G subcomplex RNA polymerase 3 binding to the TFIIIB-DNA complex via the interactions between TFIIIB & POLR3F - may be involved either in the recruitment & stabilization of the subcomplex within RNA polymerase 3, or in stimulating catalytic functions of other subunits during initiation component of the RNA polymerase 3 complex Compartment: nucleus (putative)
