Indications:
- treatment of small varicose veins
a) spider veins (diameter of less than 1 mm)
b) reticular veins (1 to 3 mm diameter)
Dosage: injection
Adverse effects:
- hematoma, bruising, irritation, discoloration
- pain around the injection area
Mechanism of action:
- damages the lining of the blood vessels, causing them to close
