Clinical manifestations: 1) secreted hormone produces little clinical effect 2) tumors recognized because of signs & symptoms associated with mass effect of tumor Laboratory: -> elevated serum FSH Radiology: -> CT or MRI of sella turcica Management: 1) surgery is the only effective treatment 2) 10% of tumors may respond to bromocryptine with some reduction in size
