pescovegetarian diet

A diet consisting of fish, eggs & dairy products but otherwise eats a vegetarian diet. Notes: - lowers all-cause mortality [2] a) benefit greater in men b) pescovegetarian diet marginally better than vegan diet - reduced risk of colorectal cancer (RR=0.57) [3] - lowers risk of ischemic heart disease (RR=0.87) vs meat eaters [4] - pescovegetarian does not increase risk of stroke [4]
