Origin:
1) upper 2/3 of lateral surface of fibula
2) lateral condyle of tibia
Insertion:
-> tendon passing behind the lateral malleolus, across the sole of the foot to the medial cuneiform & base of the 1st metatarsal
Action: plantar flexes & everts foot
Innervation: superficial peroneal nerve
