Pathology: - fistula in the oval window or round window creating an abnormal passage between the middle ear & the vestibular apparatus [2] History: - history of straining or trauma Clinical manifestations: - sudden onset of sensorineural hearing loss - dizziness, vertigo, nystagmus Special laboratory: - pneumatic otoscopy with bulb insufflation may cause vertigo with nystagmus (Hennebert sign)
