pemphigus erythematosus (Senear-Usher syndrome)
A localized variant of pemphigus foliaceus confined to site susceptible to seborrhea.
Pathology:
1) IgG & C3 deposits at dermal epidermal junction in addition to intercellular epidermal deposits
2) antinuclear antibodies (ANA)
3) may be associated with thymoma & myasthenia gravis
Clinical manifestations:
- erythematous, crusted, erosive lesions in the face, forehead, presternal & interscapular regions
