Clinical manifestations: - passive resistance to demands & authority often through procrastination - critical & resentful towards others & towards responsibiities - no clear changes in late life Management: 1) psychotropic medications generally not effective 2) allow as much input into decision-making as possible 3) set limits on unsafe or disruptive behavior
