(potassium para-aminobenzate) Indications: - antifibrosis - scleroderma - Peyronie's disease - dermatomyositis - morphea - pemphigus - vitiligo Contraindications: - patients taking sulfonamides Dosage: 500 to 1000 mg PO QD Tabs: 500 mg Adverse effects: 1) anorexia 2) nausea 3) fever 4) rash 5) adverse effects subside with cessation of therapy Notes: Topical agent. Active ingredient of some sunscreens.
