- generally affects young to middle-aged women
Radiology:
- X-ray of sacroiliac joint shows sclerosis on iliac side of sacroiliac joint only
Differential diagnosis:
1) ankylosing spondylitis
2) diffuse hypertrophic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH)
