Etiology:
- hepatopulmonary syndrome
- platypnea-orthodeoxia syndrome
- patent foramen ovale or atrial septal defect
- may associated with inferior wall & right ventricular myocardial infarction with tricuspid regurgitation
Clinical manifestations:
- oxygen desaturation in the upright position
- associated with platypnea
Radiology:
- echocardiography with agitated saline
