Clinical manifestations: - depressed initiative - decreased affect - disinterest in surroundings - suppression of complex behavior - suppression of spontaneous movement - decreased aggressiveness & impulsivity - decreased psychotic symptoms - extrapyramidal activity. * phenothiazines have been referred to as neuroleptics because of their tendency to induce neuroleptic syndrome
