Indications:
- evaluation of solitary pulmonary nodule
Procedure:
- global positioning system-like guidance
- ultra-thin bronchoscopes that allow access to smaller airways & focal sampling
- can be used in conjunction with endobronchial ultrasound if lymph node biopsy also is needed
Complications:
- uncommon
