Nandrolone decanoate. Tradename: Deca-Durabolin.
Indication: management of anemia of renal insufficiency
Dosage:
1) IM dosing only
2) men: 100-200 mg IM weekly
3) women: 50-100 mg IM weekly

Adverse effects:
1) nausea/vomiting
2) diarrhea
3) virilization
4) acne
5) gynecomastia
6) testicular atrophy
7) changes in libido
8) females:
a) hirsuitism
b) deepening of voice
c) clitoral enlargement
9) chronic effects (long term use)
a) peliosis hepatis
b) liver cell tumors
c) increased risk of atherosclerosis
Drug interactions:
1) increased anticoagulant effect of warfarin
2) increased hypoglycemic effect of sulfonylureas
