Epidemiology: - Most myelolipomas occur as unilateral adrenal masses however other sites are reported - pulmonary, mediastinal, retroperitoneal. - mean age at diagnosis ~ 50 yrs Microscopic Pathology: - mature adipose tissue with scattered islands of hematopoietic cells - necrosis, hemorrhage, cyst formation & calcification may be present Clinical manifestations: most are asymptomatic
