Syndrome of acquired neuropsychiatric symptoms in older age sustained for at least 6 months
Pathology:
- precedes mild cognitive impairment
Clinical manifestations:
- disturbances in:
- apathy, diminished drive, motivation
- mood, affect, anxiety disturbance
- impulse control disorder, agitation, reward distubance
- disorder of social appropriateness
- disorder of thought, perception
