Special laboratory: - upper GI endoscopy & lower GI endoscopy Radiology: - CT of thorax, CT of abdomen Management: - if predominantly below the diaphragm, treat as gastrointestinal adenocarcinoma even if upper GI endoscopy & lower GI endoscopy are negative - if female with peritoneal carcinomatosis, assume ovarian cancer until proven otherwise [1] - if frail or poor performance status, hospice care is appropriate
