MAS70

The Saccharomyces cerevisiae homolog of Neurospora crassa protein MOM72. MAS70 is a component of the yeast mitochondrial import machinary. Along with MAS37, MAS70 forms 1 of 2 subcomplexes that recognizes proteins targeted to mitochondria.
