Mallory body; alcoholic hyalin

Eosinophilic intracytoplasmic inclusions in liver cells characteristic of alcoholic liver disease, but seen in other conditions as well. The inclusions consist of intermediate (prekeratin) filaments & an amorphous matrix. Etiology: 1) alcoholic liver disease 2) Wilson's disease 3) indian childhood cirrhosis
