lymphocytic gastritis
Etiology:
- celiac disease (most common cause)
- common variable immunodeficiency
- HIV1 infection
- Crohn's disease
- H pylori
Epidemiology: rare
Clinical manifestations:
- mild, non-specific dyspepsia
Special laboratory:
- upper gastrointestinal endoscopy
- generally normal-appearing stomach
- occasionally, stomach may have thickened folds covered by small nodules & aphthous ulceration
